Throughout Indigo’s childhood she was surrounded by a variety of music. She would listen to reggae, RnB and soul music from her mother with the likes of Diana Ross, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston contrasted with her dads taste in soft rock such as The Beatles, Queen and The Carpenters. Growing up in Birmingham, Indigo was first introduced to entertainment at a very young age as a part of a musical theatre company. Although she enjoyed this stage in her life, she had a strong desire to sing pop and RnB. By the age of 14, she decided to step out of theatre learn to play the guitar, leading her to perform all around her home city of Birmingham at acoustic nights and open mics.
Indigo Marshall is the upcoming Birmingham born soulstress and her enviable work ethic has seen her through some fantastic musical opportunities. Her sound is powerful yet soft, smooth and bright, a soul singer through and through.
Most recently, Indigo released her debut single; “Emotional” and is currently recording new music, seeking to collaborate with other artists whilst performing up and down the country every chance she gets.
Indigo regularly performs to packed out venues in her home city and throughout the UK performing an eclectic mix of R&B, pop, soul and hip hop.
In 2018, she released a track called “Desire” with the well-respected British DJ Paul Morell, as featured on BBC Radio 1 and heard around the world from California to New Zealand. Also, early in 2019, she released “Count on Me” in collaboration with Sonel Skeete; a great medley of R&B greats.
Her unique blend of inspiring, soulful vocals connects the hearts of every listener.
